Where We Are

The Agriturismo San Giacomo is located 3 km from Sovana.
Coming from Pitigliano - Sorano, you have to take a small paved road downhill, which is located just below the fortress of Sovana, clearly visible to those who come, because it is the first and most impressive building of the town.
You have to continue for 3 km along the road. On the left you will see a cream coloured cottage.
You have arrived.

From Rome
First route:
Highway Rome-Civitavecchia (A12), at the end of which one continues on the SS1 Aurelia up to Montalto of Castro. Take therefore the SS312 and follow the road markings for Canino, Valentano, and Latera. After Latera continue on the SS74 toward Pitigliano.
Arrived at Pitigliano, follow the SP 46 for 5 Km up to Sovana.
Arrived under the Rock of Sovana, take to the left the descend road and continue for the last 3 Km.

Second route:
Highway A1, go out to Orte and continue along the SS 675 in direction Viterbo. At Viterbo take the SP 7 in direction Marta-Capodimonte.
Continue on the SS 312 passing for Valentano in direction Latera.
After Latera continue on the SS74 toward Pitigliano.
Once arrived at Pitigliano, follow the SP 46 for 5 Km up to Sovana.
Arrived under the Rock of Sovana, take to the left the descend road and continue for the last 3 Km.

Third route:
Take the SS2 Cassia bis up to Viterbo. Continue then for Valentano. Take the SS312 in direction Latera.
After Latera continue on the SS74 toward Pitigliano.
Arrived at Pitigliano, follow the SP 46 for 5 Km up to Sovana.
Arrived under the Rock of Sovana, take to the left the descend road and continue for the last 3 Km..

From Grosseto
Go out of the SS1 Aurelia opposite of Albinia. Continue on the SS 74 in direction Manciano.
From Manciano continue in direction Pitigliano.
At Pitigliano follow the SP 46 for 5 Km up to Sovana.
Arrived under the Rock of Sovana, take to the left the descend road and continue for the last 3 Km.

From Milan - Florence
Take the highway A1 going out to Orvieto and continue along the SS 71 for 13 Km around till to meet the SS 74. Continue therefore on the SS74 in direction Latera - Pitigliano.
At Pitigliano follow the SP 46 for 5 Km up to Sovana.
Arrived under the Rock of Sovana, take to the left the descent road and continue for the last 3 Km.

From Siena
Follow the SR2 Cassia passing for Buonconvento, then S.Quirico of Orcia and Gallina.
Just before Ponte del Rigo, turn to the left on road called Sforzesca. Continue for 24 Km in direction Sorano and from here for other 8 Km for Sovana.
Arrived under the Rock of Sovana, take to the left the descend road and continue for the last 3 Km.
