Pitigliano

It is difficult to forget a visit to Pitigliano.
The country expands sheer on an imposing and tuffaceous spur, becoming so an artistic and natural element of rare beauty.
Pitigliano has an important history. One can find testimonies of Etruscan, Roman and medieval age, and the hand of powerful
families of the past like the Orsini and the Aldobrandeschi.
Spend one day to visit the old country, between alleys and balconies, shops and restaurants, you will be charmed.

Saturnia

Saturnia, small suburb of ancient origins, known by the Etruscans before and by the Romans later, it is mainly frequented for the presence of the thermal establishments.
Not too far the thermal complex, and accessible to everybody because located in the open country, the falls of the Mill are located, supplied by the stream of sulphurous water of the Gorello.
Here, in a unique setting, it is possible to bathe themselves in warm water in one of the many natural basins.

Sorano

Sorano is a delicious medieval suburb whose history is rich of deserved moments of glory: its mighty Fortress has remained unconquered for centuries.
But Sorano is famous above all for the numerous Etruscan testimonies: Graves, Temples and Necropolis do of it a fixed destination for the keen people.

Sovana

Sovana is a continuous destination of tourism from every where.

It represents in fact a small jewel of its kind, because against its reduced dimensions, it is a sole historical and architectural concentrate.

The small Pretorio Square had been being unchanged for centuries; it represents a section of the medieval civilization.
We have to point out the Church of S. Maria, the rests of the Fortress and, inside the inhabited area, the native house of Pope Gregorio VII and the cathedral of the SS. Peter and Paul.

Le Vie Cave

The Cave streets are ancient and tortuous paths dug in the tuff that Etruscans used in the past as ways of communication among the principal towns.
Immersed in sharp pain vegetation, today they offer the hint for a suggestive walk in contact with the nature and the history.
During the way, among tall walls up to twenty meters, it is easy to meet numerous Etruscan graves.
For Trekking lovers, an experience to be tried.
